Programs

Two Tiers. One Standard.

As an official adidas 3Stripes Select Basketball (3SSB) program based in Columbus, Ohio, Lady Phenom United fields teams across seven age divisions from 11U through 17U, with two teams per age group—an A Team and a B Team. Every roster trains under the same United Family coaching staff and player-development system while competing on the adidas circuit built for their stage.

Age Groups & Team Structure

  • Seven Age Divisions (11U–17U)

Youth and middle school divisions cover 11U (5th Grade), 12U (6th Grade), 13U (7th Grade), and 14U (8th Grade), and high school divisions cover 15U, 16U, and 17U.

  • Two Teams Per Age Group (A Team & B Team)

Every age division carries an A Team and a B Team so players get meaningful game reps against national and regional competition.

  • A Teams (adidas 3SSB & Jr. 3SSB)

Our top high school rosters (15U, 16U, 17U) compete on the flagship adidas 3SSB circuit, while our top middle school and youth rosters (11U–14U) compete on the adidas Jr. 3SSB national qualifier circuit.

  • B Teams (adidas Earn Your Stripes — EYS)

Our second roster at each age division competes in adidas Earn Your Stripes (EYS), the official adidas developmental and qualifier circuit where teams battle in EYS sessions and Open Qualifiers with the opportunity to earn berths into championship play.

adidas Circuits

Three pathways. One United Family standard.

3SSB

3Stripes Select Basketball — High School A Teams (15U · 16U · 17U)

3Stripes Select Basketball (3SSB) is the premier grassroots platform for adidas Basketball, built for student-athletes seeking to play at the collegiate level. Our 15U, 16U, and 17U A Teams represent United Family Basketball across all three national Girls 3SSB evaluation sessions and the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships in Rock Hill, South Carolina—competing directly in front of Division I college coaches and national scouting media.

Jr. 3SSB

Junior 3Stripes Select Basketball — Youth & Middle School A Teams (11U · 12U · 13U · 14U)

The official adidas middle school and youth circuit for our 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U A Teams. Jr. 3SSB teams compete in regional Open Qualifiers (such as the Midwest Qualifier in Chicago) to earn season points for seeding and qualify for Jr. 3SSB Nationals in Rock Hill, South Carolina, alongside opportunities for the Jr. 3SSB All-American Camp Series.

EYS

Earn Your Stripes — High School & Youth B Teams (11U–17U)

adidas Earn Your Stripes (EYS) is the official circuit for our B Teams across 11U–17U. EYS provides a national proving ground through Open Qualifiers, mandatory EYS sessions (including Live Period sessions hosted alongside 3SSB), and the adidas Earn Your Stripes Championships, where top-finishing teams can qualify directly into 3SSB Session III and the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships.
